Server side factors;
The speed of the downloads can be affected by the web server capacity. For example, if the file has a small scale then the download speed will be poor. This also applies for bandwidth; if you were to create a website at home it would take longer to download than other websites such as Twitter and Facebook. This is because it has a smaller bandwidth. Therefore to increase the download of a picture for example, then you much decrease the scale of it which makes it load faster. Sound and videos also take longer load and files such as JPEG and GIF are the only files that work effectively. However files such as MP3 you need a QuickTime plug in and SWF requires the plug in flash for it to work.

User side factors;
There are certain factors that affect the functionality of a website. The user side factors are download speed, PC performance and cache memory.
Download speed - this can be affected depending on the 'traffic' of a programme. For example if many people are on the same website such as TicketMaster trying to buy tickets for a new concert or festival then the speed of the website trying to load will be much slower and may tend to buffer or freeze due to many trying to gain access to the same website all at once.
PC performance - if you do not have an up to date processor then this may eliminate you from accessing certain programs or websites. The PC performance can slow down or even stop the processor from running certain programs or websites.
Cache memory - depending on how full the processor is will affect the functionality. Things such as saving certain passwords and items in baskets on websites will slow down the computer. Due to this, the processor may have to be reset to improve its download speed.

When searching on google for a logo for my media I found the Millicano coffee one. I found it from the following website - http://www.hospitalityandcateringnews.com/2013/04/kenco-millicano-brings-quality-and-convenience-out-of-home/. I have used this logo on my home page to show the viewers that my media is to do with coffee.

I found this image while searching on google for an electronic kettle from this website - http://insights.wired.com/profiles/blogs/online-focus-groups-the-electric-kettle#axzz3Zp0kI0bz
I used this image on the second page to show, along with the gas kettle below the two types of kettles that you can use to make a cup of coffee.

I found this image on this website - http://www.peaseofgarforth.co.uk/categories/kettles
This image is used alongside the electronic kettle.

The following images where found when looking for ingredients to show the viewers for a cup of coffee. These are on the next page of my site under the button 'ingredients'.
